The first Combat Humidor was created by Capt Boris Levin in 2008 for his deployment to Iraq when he was an embedded advisor with the Iraqi Army in Basra and Nukhayb Iraq. The Combat Humidor was built to take on long patrols and to remote patrol bases. It served as the teams humidor and often used to barter cigars for services when we visited coalition bases.
The Combat Humidor is made from 100% Spanish cedar wood, just like all cigar humidors. Everything is made in our wood shop by hand and machine. We work closely with Chicago Police Brotherhood for the Fallen which send uniformed CPD cops to slain law enforcement officers funerals, a noble cause. The Semper Fi Fund is a close group we associate with by building special one off Combat Humidors for, donate, and help raise awareness. We work with other charities to help them raise awareness and funding through the auctioning off of customized Combat Humidors.
